Snowshoeing Fun

Step into a magical Arctic landscape on this guided snowshoe hike through the snowy forests of Lapland. Experience the peaceful silence of the wilderness as you trek across untouched powder, surrounded by snow-covered trees and crisp, clean air.
Your adventure begins in Rovaniemi, where you’ll meet your friendly local guide. If needed, warm winter clothing can be provided for a small additional fee (€10/person). From there, we’ll drive approximately 40 minutes to reach our snowshoeing area — a quiet and scenic location far from the crowds.
Once we arrive, your guide will teach you how to put on and use snowshoes. The route will be adjusted to suit your fitness level, making this tour perfect for almost everyone, from beginners to more experienced hikers.
As you trek through the peaceful Arctic landscape, your guide will share stories and insights about Finnish nature, wildlife, and local traditions, helping you connect more deeply with the surroundings.
Midway through the hike, we’ll stop at a beautiful viewpoint, perfect for taking photos and soaking in the vast, snowy scenery. Here, your guide will prepare a light picnic with biscuits and warm drinks, giving you a chance to relax, enjoy the moment, and maybe hear a few more stories from Lapland.
Whether you’re seeking quiet solitude, an active winter experience, or a deeper connection to Arctic nature, this snowshoeing adventure offers a truly magical escape.

  • We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 1 day or less before the event
  • We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the event
  • We will charge a cancellation fee of 10% if booking is cancelled 365 days or less before the event

We are two travel enthusiasts who turned our passion into a company after decades of working in tourism and hospitality, both in Lapland and beyond.

Patrik

Patrik began his career as a guide in Lapland before moving into tour operations, gaining extensive experience in both luxury travel and large-scale tours. He has seen the best of both worlds and wants to give guests the best experience possible – without overcharging or rushing anyone like a herd, so every moment can be truly enjoyed.

Martin

Martin knew from his teens that his work would be outdoors and full of adrenaline. He started young as a guide, leading adventures from mountaineering and climbing to canyoning and rafting. A few years ago, he founded a company in Slovenia for canyoning and rafting, and after spending several winters in Lapland, it became his second home.
