Full-Day Autumn Wilderness Hike with a Three-Course Lunch
Join us for a 6-hour adventure from Rovaniemi into the heart of Lapland’s wilderness. This small-group experience combines a peaceful nature walk through quiet landscapes with hot drinks and a three-course lunch cooked over an open fire. Your guide will share stories about Lapland’s nature and local life, creating a warm, friendly atmosphere throughout the day. Depending on the season and daylight hours, you may also enjoy a sunrise or sunset over the hills.
Before the Adventure
Your adventure begins when you meet your guide. If you need extra warmth, winter clothing is available for a small additional fee—please request it in advance by email. During the drive, your guide will explain the day’s plan and introduce the places you’ll explore, giving you a glimpse into how locals spend a day outdoors.
Exploring Lakes, Forests & Hills
After a drive of approximately 40 km, we’ll arrive at a peaceful lake surrounded by quiet forests. Your guide will lead you towards the lake and farther into the wilderness, sharing stories along the way. We’ll pause on a hillside to enjoy hot drinks and views of Lapland’s landscape, with time to rest, take photographs and enjoy the surroundings.
Three-Course Lunch Around the Fire
At one of three possible scenic locations, your guide will prepare a three-course lunch cooked over an open fire, with vegetarian options available. Take time to enjoy your meal and the warmth of the fire before continuing into the wilderness, with a sweet dessert to enjoy during the afternoon.
More Time in Nature & Return
The afternoon continues with a mix of walking, relaxation and exploration, allowing you to enjoy the silence of the surrounding forests. At the end of the six-hour experience, we’ll return you to your accommodation in Rovaniemi.

- Children under eight cannot participate due to safety and comfort considerations, including cold temperatures.
- Child rates apply to children aged 8–11, accompanied by at least one paying adult.

- Scenery and daylight vary throughout autumn. Sunrise, sunset and snow-covered landscapes depend on the date and conditions.

Cancellation Policy
- More than seven days and up to 365 days before the activity: a cancellation fee of 10% applies.
- More than one day and up to seven days before the activity: a cancellation fee of 50% applies.
- One day or less before the activity: a cancellation fee of 100% applies.

- Pick-up and drop-off are included for accommodation less than 15 km from Rovaniemi city centre.
- Accommodation 15 km or more from the city centre is subject to an additional transfer charge. Please contact us for the price.
