Day 1 – Arrival and Exploring Rovaniemi
Arrival | Transfer and check-in
Travel to your accommodation, settle in and collect your rented winter clothing if arranged. We keep the first day flexible around your flights.
Afternoon | Explore Rovaniemi or go sledging
Take a walk around the city centre, enjoy lunch or an early dinner, and leave time for playing in the snow. Head to Ounasvaara for sledging, or enjoy an indoor visit to Arktikum or Korundi, depending on your arrival time and opening hours.
Independent sledging: Sledges are available to rent. Please contact us for the rental price. Transport is charged separately.
Culture Pass: €30 per adult, €10 per child aged 7–17, and free for children under seven. A family pass for two adults and two children costs €65. Valid for seven days, with repeat visits to Arktikum and Korundi. Pilke is not included.
19:00 | Optional Northern Lights tour
If conditions are suitable and everyone feels ready, head out for an evening under the northern sky. We will discuss the tour’s length and suitability for your children before booking.
The Northern Lights service costs €180 per person and includes one tour, with weather monitoring during your stay. We are happy to discuss discount for families.
Day 2 – Husky Safari and SantaPark
11:00–12:00 | Husky safari
Meet the huskies and enjoy a 5 km safari through the snowy landscape. Allow additional time for transfers before and after the experience.
Estimated adult price: €188, including the transfer and booking fee. Children’s prices and riding arrangements will be confirmed according to age.
Midday | Lunch and a break
Enjoy lunch and a little time to rest before continuing to the afternoon activity.
Afternoon | SantaPark
Spend the afternoon exploring SantaPark’s indoor Christmas experiences, with time to enjoy the attractions together.
Tickets from €42 per adult and €37 per child aged 3–12. Children under three enter free. For two adults and two children aged 3–12, admission starts at €158, plus booking fees. Transfers are additional.
SantaPark is open 31 October 2026–23 January 2027. Outside this period, we can move the Santa Claus Village visit to this afternoon, leaving Day 3 more flexible.
Evening | Dinner or optional Northern Lights
Enjoy a relaxed evening, or keep it available for your Northern Lights tour if conditions are favourable.
Day 3 – Santa Claus Village and Winter Play
Morning | Santa Claus Village
Explore Santa Claus Village, visit the post office and meet Santa Claus. Take your time looking around, with breaks indoors whenever needed.
Meeting Santa at Santa Claus Office is free. Photographs, purchases, additional activities and transport are charged separately.
Optional extra | Mini snowmobiling
Children can try a mini snowmobile on a dedicated track, subject to the provider’s participation requirements.
The children’s mini-snowmobile from €35. This is a paid optional activity.
Afternoon | Sledging and snow play in Ounasvaara
Spend the afternoon sledging and playing in the snow at a suitable public area. Keep the outing as short or as long as the weather and children’s energy allow.
Independent snow play can be free. Transport and any sled rental are additional.
Cold-weather alternative | RolloHoppis indoor play
Swap the outdoor afternoon for slides, climbing and indoor play when you would prefer a warm activity.
Admission: €15 per child aged 2–15, €10 for a one-year-old, and free for children under one and supervising adults. Opening days will be checked for your dates.

Relax over dinner or keep the evening available for your Northern Lights outing.
Day 4 – A Lappish Day in Nature

Discover Lapland’s winter landscape through snowshoeing and ice fishing, while we stop around fire you have 3 -course menu in warm kota.

Evening | Rest or optional Northern Lights
Enjoy a quiet evening after your day outdoors. If you are still waiting for suitable Aurora conditions, this is another possible evening for your tour.
Day 5 – SnowHotel and Departure
Morning | Breakfast and check-out preparations
Have breakfast, pack your belongings and arrange luggage storage or collection around the day’s visit.
Late morning/early afternoon | Arctic SnowHotel
Explore the hotel’s snow and ice interiors before returning to Rovaniemi. We will plan the visit and transfers around your evening flight.

These can replace part of Day 3 or be included in a longer stay:
- Family snowmobile safari: approximately 1–1¼ hours of riding, with small groups and a heated children’s sleigh. Prices from €115 per Adult and €85 per child and passenger arrangements will be confirmed for your family.
- Ice karting: approximately one hour, including around 25 minutes of driving, from €95 per person. Drivers must be over 140 cm tall.
- Reindeer safari: the 14:30–16:30 programme is approximately €139 per adult. Children’s prices will be confirmed separately.
