Why We choose this partner and Activity
We’ve chosen this partner for their small groups and efficient organisation, from pick-up and getting dressed to heading out on the snowmobiles. Less time spent waiting in queues or organising a large group means more time to enjoy the experience. It’s a great introduction to snowmobiling, with no previous experience needed and a guide who adapts the pace to the group.

Short Snowmobile Ride from Rovaniemi
Enjoy a snowmobile safari designed for adults who want a small group, a personal approach and time to enjoy riding through Finnish Lapland.
We keep our groups small, with a maximum of 8 guests, and organise adult groups separately from family tours. This allows our guides to adapt the pace to the riders, whether you are trying snowmobiling for the first time or already have experience.
Ride through snowy Arctic forests and open frozen landscapes for approximately 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes, depending on the group’s pace and driving skills. Along the way, stop to take photographs and enjoy the surroundings.
We don’t rush from one stop to the next. The route and pace are adapted to the group, and when conditions and the schedule allow, we can spend a little longer on the trails.
Before the Ride
At the office in Rovaniemi, you’ll be lent the winter equipment needed for the safari: thermal overalls, winter boots, gloves, a balaclava and a helmet. The team will help you find the right sizes before heading to the snowmobile base.
No previous snowmobile experience is required. Before setting off, your guide will explain how to operate the snowmobile and provide a full driving and safety briefing.
On the Trail
- Riding time: approximately 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes, depending on the group and conditions.
