Experience a traditional husky safari through Lapland’s winter landscape. This 5 km husky ride is ideal for first-time visitors, families and anyone looking for a personal experience in a small group, with a maximum of 4–5 sledges.
Before the Ride
Your journey begins with winter clothing to keep you warm, followed by a safety briefing and driving instructions from your guide. Once ready, you’ll set off with a team of huskies, following snowy trails through peaceful forests and winter landscapes.
Meet the Huskies
After the ride, spend time getting closer to the dogs and taking photographs. Your guide will share insights into their daily lives, training and what it takes to run a sled dog team in Arctic conditions.
Warm Up in a Finnish Kota
Finish your experience in a traditional Finnish kota with hot chocolate, tea, coffee and cookies. Enjoy a relaxed conversation about the huskies and local life before heading back.

Sled Arrangements
- One sled accommodates two adults and two to three children.
- Groups with an uneven number of participants will be paired with other guests.
Clothing & What to Bring
- Warm base layers to wear beneath the provided overalls.
- Your own warm socks, hat and gloves or mittens.
- A bottle of water.
- Winter clothing is provided, but suitable layers underneath are still essential.
